SmartConveyor: Intelligent and Modular Conveyor Management System

Conveyor Optimization for Automated Factories

In any automated factory within Satisfactory, containers are connected to assemblers, constructors, and other machinery via conveyors. These conveyors are often arranged to create a 'main bus' of raw materials, essential for the efficient distribution of resources necessary for production.

This innovative device has two main objectives:

Reduce Graphical Load: It minimizes unnecessary movement of materials on the main bus, thus preventing the graphical load from increasing when no production is occurring or when no additional demand is detected. Optimize Production: It prevents machines from running needlessly just to fill the free space on the main bus of materials. To achieve these goals, two smart conveyors have been made remotely controllable via the integration of the Circuitery mod (https://ficsit.app/mod/FicsitWiremod).

Simple Installation: The setup process is straightforward. Simply cut the conveyor you wish to control and insert the device in between, then complete the conveyor to make the system operational.

Intuitive Operation: This machinery operates by waiting for signals, which can be emitted by an assembler, constructor, or even a simple button. These signals are received on a special board [ || ]. Notifications are sent out when the material injection starts and stops. Additionally, a light panel switches from green to red to indicate whether the conveyors are in pass or block mode.

For full control, a main breaker located on the side of the device can completely block the output of products, allowing for manual control when needed.
